Clinical supervision & private practice support for therapists in Ontario

Strengthen your clinical skills and practice with integrity

I support Psychotherapists and Registered Social Workers through supervision, consultation, and business guidance, helping you:

  • Strengthen your clinical skills

  • Build confidence as a practitioner

  • Navigate the practical, ethical, and relational aspects of private practice

  • Grow a practice that is ethical, sustainable, and aligned with your values

You may know what it’s like to work in an under-resourced nonprofit agency — where values are spoken about but not clearly applied.

Often, placement students or newer therapists are put wherever support is most urgently needed.

  • When the clinical work feels heavy

  • When burnout begins to surface

  • When systemic fatigue sets in…

These experiences are often framed as performance issues. In reality, they’re signals that you need more support — or that your scope of practice could be better aligned with your training and experience.

Over time, it’s easy to internalize these pressures, feeling guilty for needing more, questioning your competence, or even wondering whether you’re in the right profession.

While common, this creates a conflict of interest: your supervisor is responsible for performance and organizational outcomes, not solely your growth. This makes it difficult to access a truly safe and discretionary space for learning, reflection, and professional development.

Many therapists receive supervision from someone who is also their manager, administrator, or group practice owner.

THIS is where external supervision and consultation can make a difference.

Am I the consultant for you?

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and rooted in liberatory healing

At the core of my work is the application of trauma-informed stabilization treatment (parts work), somatic approaches, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

I draw from:

  • The neurobiology of trauma

  • Psychodynamic theory

  • Decolonial perspectives

  • Anti racist & anti-oppressive practice

  • Intersectional feminism

I am also competent in supporting therapists in integrating commonly used therapeutic modalities in ways that are practical and client-centered, such as:

  • CBT

  • DBT skills training

  • Mindfulness-based approaches

When working with you, we’ll collaboratively select approaches that best fit your personality, therapeutic philosophy, work setting, systemic context, skill level, and experiential history.

What we can work on

We’ll co-create a safe, discretionary space where you can reflect, receive guidance, and develop strategies for sustainable, values-aligned work.

Strengthen clinical skills

Develop confidence in your therapeutic abilities through individual supervision. Engage in case consultation, reflective discussions, and feedback to gain clarity in approaching complex cases and applying your skills effectively.

Meeting regulatory licensing requirements

I can support you in completing supervision attestation forms for the CRPO. I also help  social workers develop supervision requirements to meet the Guidelines for Performing the Controlled Act of Psychotherapy.

Integrate evidence-based and somatic approaches

Receive support in applying interventions such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT skills, Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (parts work), and mindfulness techniques. Supervision helps you translate these approaches thoughtfully and adaptively into real-world, client-centered practice.

Navigate relational dynamics

Explore transference, countertransference, and the differential use of self in therapy. I can help you build confidence in maintaining relational boundaries and practicing ethically from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and intersectional feminist perspective.

Reflect on your practice

Deepen self-awareness and professional insight through structured reflection prompts. We’ll foster intentional learning, strengthen clinical judgment, and support ongoing growth.

Ethical dilemmas & client-centered decision-making

Receive guidance in navigating ethical challenges, including termination, rupture and repair, and working within your scope of practice. Strengthen your ability to prioritize client safety, attunement, and well-being in all aspects of your work.

Burnout prevention & well-being

Explore strategies to maintain your own resilience and prevent burnout, ensuring sustainable practice and personal well-being while serving clients.

Business coaching & practical support

Grow as an entrepreneur and master the practical side of private practice — including implementing policies, billing, scheduling, client systems, and clarifying your scope of practice and working with your ideal client. Receive guidance on strategic growth and receive referrals to trusted resources for marketing, branding, and financial support, all while staying aligned with your professional values.

I don’t believe in gatekeeping

I want to see fellow psychotherapists and social workers thriving as therapists or in solo private practice — free from exploitative group or organizational structures — so we can offer ethical, sustainable, client-centered care to those who need it most.

A bit about my experience

I spent 12 years working within the nonprofit system and eventually left a full-time, permanent role as a Clinical Manager to begin my own solo private practice. I’ve navigated the uncertainty, the fear, and the steep learning curve that comes with stepping out on your own. Along the way, I’ve made my fair share of business mistakes — so you don’t have to.

I bring experience developing, delivering, and evaluating psychoeducational, therapeutic, and embodiment programs. I’ve provided trauma-informed clinical consultation, created onboarding and training programs, supported organizational strategic planning, and helped develop and operationalize trauma-informed practice policies in clinical settings.

This combination of clinical, organizational, and programmatic experience allows me to support you not only in your clinical growth, but also in navigating the practical, ethical, and systemic aspects of your work.
